What a privilege to be in the room last night as CeraPhi Energy was named Best in Class at the British Renewable Energy Awards 2026 Gala Dinner held in The Ballroom at the Sheraton Grand London, Park Lane, on 11th June. My warmest thanks to the REA (Association for Renewable Energy and Clean Technology), marking its 25th anniversary this year, for hosting such a glittering evening and for championing our sector so brilliantly. 👏 communityenergyengland.
Huge congratulations to Karl Farrow and the whole Geothermal Development Company – CeraPhi Energy team this recognition is richly deserved. It was a real joy to share the moment alongside Neil McLoughlin, Tania Farrow and so many others who’ve put their hearts into building something genuinely transformative.
Geothermal too often gets overlooked in the renewables conversation, so to see CeraPhi celebrated on this stage feels like a milestone for the whole sector. As a member of the Steering Committee of the REA Geothermal Energy Forum, I couldn’t be prouder to see the technology earning the spotlight it deserves.
Through Climate Change Ventures (CCV), it’s been a pleasure to support CeraPhi’s advisory needs as they scale their vision: repurposing legacy oil & gas wells into clean, reliable energy for district heating, greenhouses, and the wider heating and cooling sectors. Turning yesterday’s infrastructure into tomorrow’s low-carbon heat is exactly the kind of practical, scalable transition our markets need.
